Teresa Vazquez focuses on professional malpractice matters involving the representation of lawyers, accountants, architects, engineers, and insurance agents. She also represents developers, contractors, and design professionals in construction and design disputes, including defect and lien enforcement.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Vazquez was In-House Counsel at an experiential marketing firm and practiced with boutique law firms in Coral Gables. She is experienced in the areas of class actions, business torts, securities, and complex bankruptcy actions in both federal and state court, including work on the Scott Rothstein billion-dollar Ponzi scheme.
Ms. Vazquez earned her Juris Doctor from The Catholic University Columbus School of Law in 2013, where she was awarded a Certificate of Highest Honors for Pro Bono Service. She was also President of the Latin American Law Student Association and received the Dean’s Award for outstanding community leadership. During law school she was a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Alan S. Gold, United States District Court, Southern District of Florida.
